“The Covenant” is yet another movie that I feel fits his narrative choices, even though it is pretty different from the style that made him famous. It has the action, the character building, and that raw style that makes this movie feel interesting.
“Beau is Afraid” is not just a movie; it’s a piece of art that challenges the audience. It makes you think, but also forces you to resist the urge to give up and leave the theater, which a few people did in my screening.
There are no flaws in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”, It boasts impressive visuals, comedy, action, character development, and heart, which moved me to tears several times unexpectedly.
With this in mind, “Sisu” is a fitting title for the movie. The trailer promised a thrilling ride, and it delivered!
“Air” is the kind of movie that, from the get-go, has a considerable advantage, the story is just incredible, and it’s real; it’s insane because of the importance this moment had in the life of so many
I was not expecting all the pieces to fit perfectly, but for me, “Tetris” was just incredible, not only because of the crazy story but the fresh and fun way they decided to approach it.
After watching “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”, I am pleased that they decided to go with the animated route because can’t see it working
For some time now, “John Wick ” has carved his name in cinema history as one of the best action characters ever created, but this fourth movie just raised the bar for everyone in how to shoot an action movie.
Ok guys so I watched “Top Gun” for the first time, and let me tell you, now I feel the need… the need to watch it again and again and again.
Visually “Dunkirk” is one of the most impressive movies I have ever seen; even in my living room, I felt I was there, and each scene could be part of a historical journey.
“Missing” just takes it to new levels; the story is not as powerful or believable as “Searching”, but it is way more interesting than the “Unfriended” movies, but it is much “bigger” in scale, which makes it much more impressive in regards to the writing.
“RRR” is nuts, absolutely nuts, and honestly, it has every element for me to hate it; somehow, I had a blast with it.
When I started watching “The Wolf of Wall Street”, the expectations were so high that it would be hard to match them; surprise, surprise Leo ultimately surpassed all expectations.
Ant-man Quantumania is the exact definition of what Marvel is now in the franchise. They bring the comics to life through vibrant colour pallets and extravagant cinematography/special effects.
“Beautiful Boy” had every single element to shock us, to really go for our emotions and use them in a cheap way, but instead, it just strips all that way and tells us the story of a Dad that is lost and way over his head and just wants to save his beautiful son, this might be the reason you will love it or the reason why you don’t care about it.
After watching “The Fabelmans” just a couple of days ago, I was pretty sure not many movies could hit me that hard; well, I was very wrong “The Whale” did.
“Blindspotting” honestly blew my mind in every way possible, and it’s crazy to see it receive such little recognition.
“Last Night in Soho” is one of the year’s best films and my favourite of 2021. Not only is it stunning in every technical aspect, but it is also fresh and another masterclass in filmmaking by Edgar Wright.
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” was everything I wanted and more, and it’s actually probably in my top 5 MCU movies.
