This is where all our movie reviews are
As a huge fan of the “Evil Dead” franchise, especially the original trilogy, I was curious to see what Lee Cronin was going to do with it.
“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” balanced the comedy, fantasy and action to perfection, this movie is so much fun.
After watching “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”, I am pleased that they decided to go with the animated route because can’t see it working
“Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” opening, which includes backstories conveyed through drawings and animations.
For some time now, “John Wick ” has carved his name in cinema history as one of the best action characters ever created, but this fourth movie just raised the bar for everyone in how to shoot an action movie.
The biggest problem I had with the first movie is now fixed, but honestly, I think “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” just fixed it in a way that does not make it any better.
In “65” the concept of humans interacting with prehistoric animals is taken a step further with a futuristic twist.
Ok guys so I watched “Top Gun” for the first time, and let me tell you, now I feel the need… the need to watch it again and again and again.
Visually “Dunkirk” is one of the most impressive movies I have ever seen; even in my living room, I felt I was there, and each scene could be part of a historical journey.
Even compared with the first, “Scream 6” is fresh and brings something new; it would make Wes Craven proud.
“Missing” just takes it to new levels; the story is not as powerful or believable as “Searching”, but it is way more interesting than the “Unfriended” movies, but it is much “bigger” in scale, which makes it much more impressive in regards to the writing.
“Apocalypse Now” is iconic in its own right, and the reason for it is that the director gave it his all.
It’s rare to watch a movie and still struggle to fully process it 24 hours later, but that’s precisely how I felt after watching “Infinity Pool.”
Morbius is the second attempt of Sony to milk the Spider-man property; after Venom, this was not the most obvious villain to take on, but I have to say,
“Turning Red” is not a film for children; it is more aimed toward adults and teens; however, it still seems childish at points or a little obnoxious in how it sees young girls, but it does save itself because of how it balances that with some profound and meaningful messages for young girls like me.
“RRR” is nuts, absolutely nuts, and honestly, it has every element for me to hate it; somehow, I had a blast with it.
“Cha Cha Real Smooth” will warm your heart at the same time it rips it out, it is beautiful at times and had me laughing with never even feeling it was trying, and it did all that, going really deep into some dark subjects.
“Tár” is easily one of the most influential movies of the year, not only by the juggernaut of talent that is Cate Blanchett but also because of the subject matters it takes on.
“Creed III” is the first of the 9 movies that don’t have Sylvester Stallone involved in some way, and believe it or not, that does make it feel different.
“Cocaine Bear”is undeniably crazy, and that’s what makes it work. It’s impossible to handle the story of a cocaine-addicted bear in a safe way, and everyone involved in the movie knew that.
