The time has finally come to talk about “Deadpool & Wolverine“! Well, sort of. There are so many exciting elements I’d love to discuss, but I can’t spoil the surprises that make this movie such a fun experience.

Ryan Reynolds delivers again, crafting a movie that’s far from perfect and riddled with plot holes. Yet, you won’t care because his love for Deadpool is infectious, spreading to everyone in the cast, even those with the smallest cameos.

Let’s start by praising Disney and Kevin Feige. Despite the criticism they’ve faced recently, it took real courage to not only greenlight an R-rated film but also to do it with Reynolds, who loves to push boundaries. Their bravery paid off, and this movie is set to cross the billion-dollar mark effortlessly.

This movie hits all the familiar beats of the previous Deadpool films: a memorable opening credit scene, great comedy, incredible action sequences, and standout side characters. What elevates this one is Hugh Jackman, who’s at the top of his game.

Reynolds is the life of the movie, but Jackman is its heart. For those who thought “Logan” was the perfect farewell for Wolverine, wait until you see this film. Jackman brings so much to the screen, fulfilling fan dreams with a performance that makes me hope he keeps playing Wolverine “until he is 90”.

My only gripe is that some scenes felt repetitive. It didn’t feel too long—I could have watched for hours—but I wished some fight sequences had more purpose.

The cameos and Easter eggs are unlike anything we’ve seen before. They aren’t just thrown in; they’re woven into the story, feeding into pop culture and fan rumors we’ve followed for years. One specific cameo alone made the entire movie worth it for me.

I still have a smile on my face thinking about what this movie achieved. It’s a film for fans, made by a fan like Reynolds who showed that pursuing your dreams can pay off big time.
