Solo eso ya es motivo de celebraci\u00f3n. Tom\u00f3 casi 40 a\u00f1os y seis pel\u00edculas para que finalmente alguien entendiera qu\u00e9 hace que &#8220;Alien&#8221; sea tan fascinante. Lamentablemente, perdieron de vista esa esencia en los \u00faltimos 20 minutos, lo que impidi\u00f3 que la pel\u00edcula estuviera al mismo nivel que las dos primeras.<br><br>Lo que hace que &#8220;Alien&#8221; sea tan cautivadora es su simplicidad. Es como &#8220;Tibur\u00f3n&#8221; en el espacio: el miedo y la simplicidad de tener un &#8220;monstruo&#8221; en un entorno donde claramente tiene la ventaja, y c\u00f3mo nuestra humanidad se pone a prueba junto con nuestra voluntad de sobrevivir. Esta nueva pel\u00edcula de &#8220;Alien&#8221; captura esa esencia, especialmente porque dedican tiempo a desarrollar un nuevo personaje en lugar de exprimir a Ripley una vez m\u00e1s.<br><br>La pel\u00edcula se ve incre\u00edble, y la combinaci\u00f3n de efectos pr\u00e1cticos con CGI demuestra una vez m\u00e1s ser la elecci\u00f3n correcta para un filme como este. Los facehuggers nunca hab\u00edan parecido m\u00e1s aterradores. La pel\u00edcula es una mezcla perfecta de nostalgia, nuevas ideas y la adaptaci\u00f3n de lo que funcion\u00f3 en las pel\u00edculas anteriores para una nueva audiencia.<br><br>Hay tantas cosas que amar en esta nueva pel\u00edcula, y muestra el potencial de la historia para avanzar. Pero\u2026 los \u00faltimos 20 minutos me hacen pensar que cada vez m\u00e1s pel\u00edculas deber\u00edan detenerse mientras est\u00e1n en la cima. No solo introduce un \u00e1ngulo innecesario a la historia, sino que tambi\u00e9n trae una serie de elecciones visuales que se ven muy mal, similar a lo que vimos en &#8220;Alien: Resurrecci\u00f3n&#8221;. Todos sabemos que quiz\u00e1 sea mejor dejar ese camino para futuras pel\u00edculas.<br><br>Aparte de eso, hay muchas razones para estar contento. Todo el equipo involucrado, desde el director de fotograf\u00eda hasta el compositor, claramente entendi\u00f3 la tarea. Finalmente, tenemos, con Cailee Spaeny y David Jonsson, un elenco talentoso que puede llevar esta historia hacia adelante, especialmente si contin\u00faan bajo la direcci\u00f3n del visionario Fede \u00c1lvarez.<br><br>Fede \u00c1lvarez fue definitivamente el director adecuado, y con \u00e9l al mando y Dan Trachtenberg a cargo de &#8220;Depredador&#8221;, estoy realmente emocionado por la posibilidad de una pel\u00edcula crossover.<br><br>\u00bfQu\u00e9 piensas de esta pel\u00edcula? \u00bfD\u00f3nde la colocar\u00edas en la franquicia de &#8220;Alien&#8221;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure -->\n<p>Let\u2019s start the conversation by getting straight to the point: this is the best \u201cAlien\u201d movie since \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/letterboxd.com\/film\/aliens\/\">Aliens<\/a>\u201d in 1986. That alone is a reason to celebrate. It took almost 40 years and six movies for someone to finally understand what makes \u201cAlien\u201d so compelling. Unfortunately, they lost sight of that in the last 20 minutes, which prevented the film from standing on the same level as the first two movies.<br><br>What makes \u201cAlien\u201d captivating is its simplicity. It\u2019s like \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/letterboxd.com\/film\/jaws\/\">Jaws<\/a>\u201d in space\u2014the fear and simplicity of having a \u201cmonster\u201d in an environment where it clearly has the advantage, and how our humanity is put to the test along with our will to survive. This new \u201cAlien\u201d movie captures that essence, especially because they spend time developing a new character instead of milking Ripley once again.<br><br>The movie looks amazing, and the mix of practical effects with CGI once again proves to be the right choice for a film like this. The facehuggers have never looked scarier. The movie is a perfect blend of nostalgia, new ideas, and adapting what worked in previous films for a new audience.<br><br>There are so many things to love about this new movie, and it shows the story's potential moving forward. But... the last 20 minutes make me think that more and more movies need to stop while they\u2019re ahead. Not only does it introduce an unnecessary angle to the story, but it also brings in a bunch of visual choices that look very bad\u2014similar to what we saw in \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/letterboxd.com\/film\/alien-resurrection\/\">Alien: Resurrection<\/a>.\u201d We all know that maybe it\u2019s best to leave that route for future movies.<br><br>Apart from that, there are many reasons to be happy. The entire team involved, from the cinematographer to the composer, clearly understood the assignment. We finally have, with <a href=\"https:\/\/letterboxd.com\/actor\/cailee-spaeny\/\">Cailee Spaeny<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/letterboxd.com\/actor\/david-jonsson\/\">David Jonsson<\/a>, a talented cast that can carry this story forward, especially if they continue to be led by the visionary Fede \u00c1lvarez.<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/letterboxd.com\/director\/fede-alvarez-1\/\">Fede \u00c1lvarez<\/a> was definitely the right director, and with him at the helm and <a href=\"https:\/\/letterboxd.com\/director\/dan-trachtenberg\/\">Dan Trachtenberg<\/a> in charge of \"<a href=\"https:\/\/letterboxd.com\/film\/predator\/\">Predator<\/a>,\" I'm actually really excited about the possibility of a crossover movie.<br><br>What do you think about this movie? Este novo filme de \"Alien\" captura essa ess\u00eancia, especialmente porque eles dedicam tempo para desenvolver um novo personagem em vez de explorar Ripley mais uma vez.<br><br>O filme \u00e9 visualmente incr\u00edvel, e a mistura de efeitos pr\u00e1ticos com CGI prova novamente ser a escolha certa para um filme como este. Os facehuggers nunca pareceram t\u00e3o assustadores. O filme \u00e9 uma combina\u00e7\u00e3o perfeita de nostalgia, novas ideias e a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o do que funcionou nos filmes anteriores para uma nova audi\u00eancia.<br><br>H\u00e1 tantas coisas para amar neste novo filme, e ele mostra o potencial da hist\u00f3ria para seguir em frente. Mas\u2026 os \u00faltimos 20 minutos me fazem pensar que mais filmes deveriam parar enquanto est\u00e3o no auge. N\u00e3o s\u00f3 introduz um \u00e2ngulo desnecess\u00e1rio na hist\u00f3ria, mas tamb\u00e9m traz uma s\u00e9rie de escolhas visuais que ficam muito ruins, semelhante ao que vimos em \"Alien: Ressurrei\u00e7\u00e3o\". Todos sabemos que talvez seja melhor deixar esse caminho para futuros filmes.<br><br>Fora isso, h\u00e1 muitas raz\u00f5es para estar feliz.
